To All myANC Users

 

The portal has a short "time-out" feature for security purposes.  If you are composing a reply to a forum discussion, writing an email, or creating in the custom content portlet the system is likely to time out while you are composing.  You will not know this has happened until you hit the SAVE button, when all your hard work disappears.

 

There are ways to prevent this from happening to you.  The best way is to compose in Word or Notepad and then copy your work into the forum message or email block.

 

This has been noted on the HELP page under both Student and Instructor help pages.
